The students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko In Ondo state are getting tenser by the day due to closeness of their examination date.
Many at times, students tend to procrastinate studying until it is examination period when everything gets piled up and weariness sets in. this is also the case of AAUA Students. As many use their precious time to engage in social activities that are necessary and unnecessary on campus.
The beginning to the middle of each semester is filled with social and entertainment programs that can consume one's concentration of care is not taken. After all the fun, these activities are then reduced or stopped when the examination is very close so that students can start studying for their exams.
That time of the semester is here again, to test the knowledge of the student and the students are now in the state of confusion, some even getting depressed because they don't know where to start from. Everything seems so fast, department activities are time and energy-consuming and studying for examination is also compulsory if one wants to have excellent grades.
For this reason, all students both the serious and the unserious ones are forced to copy the notes that they have missed, study their books and also pressurise their mates to tutor them. They now try to compress what is meant to be done with ease in an entire semester into what they do in a week or more under pressure.
Students now engage in marathon reading and night classes both in school and at their friends' or tutors'. And they are expected to look slimmer and exhausted as this is the routine of AAUA students every examination period. The compile the work of an entire semester to a week's job and return to their places of abode looking sick and malnourished.
